  • Recent renovations at Moksha Yoga Uptown have left the studio I used to love in more than a little bit of chaos... Lots of unfinished re-no projects all around the studio leaves the entire place feeling messy and unprofessional. Granted, after more than 6 months since having started the re-nos the place is FINALLY starting to look more complete, but it's like the folks who run the place have completely run out of steam. They've dozens of bits of paper taped up all over the walls telling people where things are, crappy, dollar-store soap dispensers in the bathrooms... it's a little embarrassing. And no one ever seems to know what's going on! Simple questions are met with blank stares, or referrals to the manager (?!?). I used to love this space... with the lovely dark wood floors, and it's cozy space... now it feels like a big box store for yoga. It's unfortunate. :(
