  • Two friends of mine have been raving about this place for quite some time. We were out in Plum, so my beer snob bf was really wanting to check it out. Holy. Cow. I have never seen such a selection of beer in my entire life. Other Yelpers are correct when they say that this is one of the rarest collections of beer in Western PA. There is nothing fancy about this place, but it's selection makes up for that. They have a bar in the back where you can have libations there if you please, but really their strength is in the mixing and matching of six packs. I was over whelmed (in a good way). As it's almost fall, they were having a special deal 6 pack of pumpkin beers for $14.95...I couldn't resist. They have brewers that I had never heard of, but I'm really excited to check out. Since their inventory is so massive, they also have a sale selection. Now please note that this by no way means that the "sale" beers are not good. It's just that they only have so much space and have to keep current with the seasons. (I know this b/c I asked the cashier. lol) My bf looked like a kid in a candy store. When he saw the sale rack I'm imagining he felt how I feel on Black Friday. HA! He went with 3 larger bottles from the sale shelf, and a 6 pack of assorted brewers he had never tried. This place is worth the hike, and I know we will be back!!
