Another great concert @ the Knox!! This time it was for a much larger crowd in attendance to watch The Tallest Man on Earth.
i had a chance to roam around the place a little bit and didn't realize there was a basement floor. Lining up for the washroom was an interesting experience that prompted me to reflect on my own taste in fashion (lack thereof), there were over a dozen guys in tight jeans, cardigans, and sported greasy pompadours. It also felt like everything in the Knox, from the stairs to the urinals felt vintage and gothic.
We had the most AMAZING seats in the place. We sat right in church pew corner to the left, my back rested on the corner wall and front. At first we were a little worried because the left side of the stage was in front of us, but Kristian Matsson's animated way of performing and moving around the stage didn't relegate us to staring at the back of his head and his tight hipster jeans. Another plus was that the musician's backstage was right beside us and from the subtle movements of the swinging door, we can see Kristian kicking it back with a glass of wine. Check out some of the looser-iphone-app pics I took to see our vantage point!
I didn't manage to get a t-shirt or any swag after the concert. No worries, I scored a post-encore man-hug from The Tallest Man on Earth and like my tip suggested, I still am the happiest teenage girl on the planet.
