| - I like Venetian Nail Spa for a couple reasons. First and foremost, I never need an appointment. If I'm going with a small group (4 people, for example) I have called ahead to make sure we reserve enough pedicure chairs at a certain time - and they were indeed ready for us at that time (on a weekend). I don't think I've ever waited more than 10 minutes (without an appointment). And they are open on Sundays, which is awesome.
A regular manicure is $20. A basic pedicure is about $32. Fancier pedicure with hot towel, leg massage is $40, I think. They also have a combo pedi/mani for a discount. While I think you can probably get these services for less $ elsewhere, I've never had a bad mani or pedi here and I've never had any problems with cuts or infections, etc. - nor have I known anyone else to have any of those problems. I've had manicures and pedicures at salons (for more $) and I think it's the same quality (or often better) than many of the salons I've been to. Venetian is consistent. I know what to expect and it's the same every time.
You can also get acrylics and gel nails here. I saw someone's acrylics with fancy designs (with appliques) and they were no joke. That is some serious artistry, I swear to God.
They also appear to offer massages, facials and waxing - although I've never seen these at this location.
Some of the nail techs are super friendly, some aren't. As I am the WORST at small talk (and I can't hear very well) so I'm cool with not chatting much. I'd rather sit in silence and focus on trying not to feel guilty about being vain and wasting my money on a pedicure. :)
This place looks nice. It's in a strip mall in Rocky River. They have about 15 nail stations and 12 (?) pedicure chairs. The place looks like it's trying to be fancy with waterfall cascades and the decor, but upon closer inspection it looks a little worn down and cheap. It's still solid though.
I had NO idea this was a chain. They have more than 40 stores in various states.
