  • I've been a customer since they opened 14 years ago. Since I moved to Las Vegas from San Francisco in 2001, there's certain things (mainly food and snack, and sake stuff) I just can't live without! Nakata Market had them. I was also, a frequent video and DVD renter for Japanese drama and this place really came through for me with my addiction. LoL Even during the New Year's Eve gatherings with my Japanese friends, products from this store made our celebration very close to traditional. New Year's Eve and New Year's Day has always been an important part of the Japanese culture. They carry some wide variety of quality imported products from Japan, which are not available from other Asian markets. The owner of the store is well informed, and constantly researching for current popular items in Japan. The staff is also, very knowledgeable, and helpful.
