  • I had an excellent shopping experience at Glamour Boutique II. The saleswoman was working on a DIY project for her wedding that she promptly put down to give me her complete personal time and attention. She gave me a brief tour, making suggestions and pointing out items, and left me to shop staying only a holler away for questions. Without a doubt, Glamour is a shopping paradise for the woman of non-traditional size or shape! It is true their target audience may be drag performers, but I think many people can benefit from a comfortable place like this. Beyond the usual "tricks of the trade" -- extremely extended size sexy heels, unusually narrow but strong body shapers, heavy coverage vibrant makeups -- the store also struck me as a absolutely perfect first stop for buying inexpensive plus size bachlorette gifts and trousseau items. I found about four pairs of shoes and boots I wanted to buy for my friends in Rocky Horror casts and the perfect retro fabulous blouse for a trendy 80s party. I feel more glamorous and I'm sure you will, too.
