| - We have stayed at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas about 5 times, so I believe a proper review is in order.
We have stayed in only 2 versions of their rooms. One is the City Room and the other is the Terrace Studio.
When we first stayed there, we had a City Room, which has 2 Queen beds. We had a fountain view room (no balcony/terrace) but the view was amazing. I've heard that the City Rooms are only in the West (Chelsea) Tower.
We have also stayed in the Terrace Studio Fountain view as well as the non-fountain view. Take it from me, the fountain view is totally worth it. It's worth the price upgrade and just more magical. The view that you'll see is way better and includes the Bellagio fountains and North strip. You can see Bellagio, Paris, Bally's, Flamingo, and the Linq High Roller and Venetian in the distance.
All the time we've stayed here, the rooms were clean.
The best part is the BEDS! Beds were so very comfortable! Pillows were nice and soft. There were (4) pillows per bed. We slept really well during our stay. Some mornings, we didn't want to get up because they were so comfortable!
No noisy hallways. We didn't experience anyone running around or causing a commotion. You could just hear the slamming of doors. But this is because the doors are so damn heavy! But this is a great thing. At least you KNOW your door is closed.
We didn't like the room illumination. It felt dim & dark. I would have liked to see better lighting. But I hear with the renovations that are taking place, this is being addressed.
Housekeeping was friendly & the room was serviced every day. Fresh towels were given and the bed was made every day.
Found that the room had ample plugs to charge our phones and devices, which is a plus for us. I've had my share of rooms with little to no plugs.
TV offered a great selection of HD channels and the picture was excellent. We never had a problem finding something to watch on TV there.
The shower was great. Adequate water pressure and water was hot (for the sinks as well).
We liked the two sinks to get ready. Allowed my wife and I do not get in each other's way and not having to coordinate bathroom schedules.
The clientele varies depending on the day/week, etc. Found out that the weekends tend to attract the younger crowd and it's very busy on Friday until Sunday evening. Weekdays are a different story. More mellow and a lot less "clowns" and commotion.
Checkout was a breeze via the TV. Checked out at and was on our way.
Appreciated separate elevator banks. We waited no longer than 1-minute for an elevator to the room. Average was about 10-seconds to get an elevator from the time the button was pushed (no kidding, its fast!) the same with the parking garage elevators.
Appreciate there are two pedestrian bridges. One to Planet Hollywood and the other to Crystals. Got to check out Crystals, Aria, Monte Carlo and Bellagio as they were easily accessible by foot or tram.
Parking was the best. Could always find a stall no matter what time of day or night. Liked the "Christmas tree lights" that indicate open stalls. Exiting on Harmon is a breeze and better than the North exit which is next to impossible to exit with crowds walking.
Overall, the Cosmopolitan is an awesome hotel!
