  • I own a place in the high rise within this complex and shop at this store often. When they are slow, they call my cell and ask me to come in to shop. I went there this weekend and up until check out had a decent experience. No one acknowledged or helped me but I did get a fitting room quickly. While waiting in line to check out, they addressed a person behind me in line, offered to place her purchases behind the counter, asked her if she was a loyalty member, opened a register for her, basically talking over my shoulder to her while completely ignoring me. I spoke up and stated that I had been next in line and was also a loyalty member, they said nothing and continued to ignore me. I handed my items over to them and left the store. A few minutes later I called the manager, stated that I had a bad experience and asked this store to stop calling me when they needed the business. She started rattling off the number for customer service and did not even bother to ask what my experience was. Once I called her on this, she asked me and said that she would handle the problem but offered me no solution. For instance, she could have offered to ring me out quickly and personally if I was willing to give them another chance. I called Customer Service and was told that there were 12 callers in front of me. I then sent an email detailing my experience and asked to have my email removed without closing the account. I received a basic auto email back thanking me for the feedback. I responded again asking for my cell phone to be removed. I received an email that they closed my account so I guess to add insult to injury, I've lost any accumulated loyalty benefits. Great job WHBM. This is why Amazon is taking over. As mentioned, I own a property in this complex so I try to support the physical stores around me. This company has gone above and beyond to make me feel ignored, not once, not twice, but four times during one shopping experience.
