  • i just did this hike on 8/23/11 while on my Vacation to Las Vegas. i was amazed that such a place existed just 40 minutes from the strip. The trail itself is well maintained compared to some of the trails in SoCal. This was only my 2nd time hiking at an Elevation of 8,000 or higher. once my lungs adjusted to the altitude i was fine. This is one place that i would recommened to anyone who goes to vegas and enjoys the outdoors.
