3.5 stars. The show was entertaining. David is really funny and quick on his feet (although by the end of the show, you realize half of the incidents and jokes may have been planted in order to queue you up for later tricks.).
We really liked half of the show, but some parts were ridiculously cheesy. Like the long skit involving the Disney-like animatronic blue alien, for example. But the disappearing acts were great.
One part I really disliked is that he used his father's death for entertainment. In the beginning of the show, he convinces the audience that "home videos" of his deceased father were real. When I found out they weren't, I felt taken advantage of, and not in a fun magic trick kind of way.
We got discounted tickets ($83, normally at least $105) from the Tix4Tonight booth just north of MGM Grand. The theater has comfortable dinner theater-type seating in the back. You can order light bar snacks and drinks in the front, then bring them back to your booth.
