This shop is only okay if you never have a problem. After 2 years of using a very gentle demi color because of a sensitive scalp, never had the slightest problem. The last time, however, something very different. Unfortunately, it was was the day before I was to go into a serious surgery. When washing at the bowl when I mentioned my color my operator Kaylin seemed confused about what she used. I very soon realized that Kaylin had put on something very different and very strong. My scalp became red, burning and itching. The other thing that I immediately noticed was that the hair was colored perfectly without a trace of gray which had never happened before. When I called the shop she did not come to the phone. So for the next two weeks, my head was burning and itching. I called the Wella hotline that told me that it most certainly seems like a permanent color, not the very mild demi. No matter how many times the hair is washed, it does not fade-pretty impossible for this demi. Sadly, when I spoke to the owner she said that Kaylin said that my scalp and hair just reacted differently to the color. I asked only that instead of this nonsense, just an apology for the mistake. I have had two other color specialist look at my hair as well as a dermatologist and all said that in no way did she use a demi permanent color. I went to have a test on my scalp of my usual demi and it was fine-absolutely no problem.
I am sorry that neither Kaylin nor the owner had the heart or kindness to feel bad about the mistake which has caused me much pain at a very difficult time.
