  • I came into this shop because I had recently moved to the vegas area and wanted to get an idea for the gaming community, and this was the most prevalent shop that my online searches found. Upon entering it looked promising, because there was a good amount of people inside, even though it was a week day. However, upon entering and beginning a conversation with the man behind the counter, my experience started its downhill decent. I inquired about the RPG community at the shop, and asked if he had any groups that came in frequently. He said he had a few groups but directed me immediately to their webpage and seemed almost done with me the minute I brought up that I was a RPG gamer. When I started asking a few more questions- and mentioned that I wasn't entirely interested in D&D or Pathfinder, which were the only games he cared to mention to me -he became almost exasperated with me. He continually directed me towards his website instead of answering the questions I had, and when I brought up other game systems said that I would "just have to make my own event or group and deal with it if people didn't show up". He was entirely unhelpful, rude, and all together cold to me just because I brought up RPG games. What really nailed it for me, though, was how he treated a few younger kids that were beside me at the counter. The kids did interrupt a few times with questions, but being someone who works with kids I didn't mind and actually said they could go ahead and speak. The man behind the counter, however, was very curt and cold towards the kids. Anytime they came up while I was checking out- something I didn't even want to do, but they did have dice I needed -he would tell them said "I'm going to need you to leave until I'm through with this customer (me)" and also that they needed to "leave him alone" until he was done and then he could "deal with" them. If the rudeness and lack of over all customer service wasn't already an issue the cold treatment of a kid who couldn't have been more than 10, seriously left a bad taste in my mouth. I only had this one experience and I KNOW I will never return.
