I'm a recent graduate in the Bachelor of Arts program at MRU, and I have nothing but good things to say.
MRU is a wonderful school. I love that the class sizes are smaller, so you actually got to know your fellow classmates and your professors. I think it brings a personal touch to the experience when your professors actually take the time to help you and care about your success. I also found that both students and professors were really easy going, wonderful people. I found making friends both in and out of the classroom to be pretty simple. There are also lots of clubs and activities going on around campus that has something catering to everyone. The Recreation Centre is also great. I'm a member there, and the facility has top of the line equipment. They also offer squash courts, rock climbing walls, and fitness classes. So, it's not just a gym for those who don't care for working out on machines.
I definitely miss the university life. MRU is a place I highly recommend attending, whether you want to go to the Recreation Centre or even to be a student.
