I've been coming here for about 10 months, primarily for the pork belly bao buns. Today, we went for Sunday breakfast.
The Fat Benedict was unctuous. The bao buns, were (as expected) perfection in small packages.
This place is funky. It's nestled within a smoke saturated, over-perfumed, dive casino (The Eureka), yet the air inside is clean and welcoming. The decor is 1950's diner. The food is Asian inspired with a hint of soul food.
I take people here and make no apologies for the setting: somehow, it is perfect for a fun culinary adventure.
Totally satiated; until next time :-)
