I was booked into the Venetian and was disappointed when I was told they were full and we were being put into the Palazzo but I realise now it was the best choice. The Palazzo is less frenetic and far more elegant. We had a lovely stay. Room service was good. Only criticism was housekeeping didn't get our room cleaned one day. We returned at 4.30 and it still hadn't been done. We asked for them to do it later while we were out and they did but it was a little irritating with children that wanted to relax before dinner. Also, we had booked a room with 2 double beds and the hotel knew we were 4 people so why not provide glasses, robes and sufficient towels and toiletries for 4? I left housekeeping a tip with a note to leave the relevant bits and they duly did. We ate in Sushi Samba and The Grand Lux Cafe (see separate reviews) and enjoyed them. Having looked at all the other hotels on the Strip, we decided we had definitely made a good choice and would book The Palazzo again. Ps the hotel was surprisingly un-smokey which I had been concerned about.
