  • The Buffet at the Golden Nugget is not the best buffet to be had in Las Vegas, the Strip hotels have better, much better, but if in Downtown, the Nugget Buffet is the best one. They serve all meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner and there is always some cross over so whenever you go, you will find something to eat. The price is reasonable considering the service and the quality of the food. There is usually a line but it moves very fast. We were seated for lunch in less than 3 minutes. Once seated a server is right there to get a drink order and to let you know about the buffet. They come by to clean up dishes and check on you. We loved the service, and very friendly as well. The selection is very large. From a great salad area to a cut meat area, they have it all. If you want Italian they have that, Asia, got ya, American, there is a ton of it. Their pies and cakes are super good. You will not be rushed and if you want to linger you can. Children are welcome. Have a great time.
