  • Truth be told, I was disappointed in Firefly on Paradise. The place is always packed, and the smells from the outstanding were amazing, but the eating experienced left a lot to be desired. I had a hard time even getting a table - tried a couple of days - and then I was seated but only outside in a corner. Waiting times for service were longish, and then a couple of dishes I was served were obviously made ahead of time and heated at the last minute, and the inside of the food was still cold. The dishes were modern yuppy fusion and not traditional. All in all, there is a lot of flash and not a lot of substance. I will not be coming back.
