| - I have written a grand total of 3 reviews on yelp in 5+ years, the other two were five stars. I rarely feel the need to write a review, be it positive or negative. So when I take the time to find my yelp password, it should tell you something about how unprofessional the office staff was.
I actually really liked Dr. Robinson, she was polite, and patient and I have a ton of respect for her service to our country. I would have gladly been a patient of hers in the future for no other reason just to give a veteran my business.
Sadly the office staff (Tammy) is very rude and condescending over the phone. After asking her a simple question and letting her know that I instructed the office to call me with the lab results be it good or bad and follow up with me - she told me "Obviously the results were okay or we would have called you, how could you not know that?" I should have just hung up there and gone someplace else for medical care, but she was supposed to transfer me to the front office to schedule my follow up, she actually just dumped me to an empty phone line that I waited on for 3 minutes. When I left her a voice mail to call me back, she did call me back, but she called me back during the schedulers lunch time. I asked her to have them call me or if possible could she walk over there and leave them a note to schedule an appointment with me. She did not do this and I had to call back later, because she couldn't be bothered to walk 20 feet. She spent the rest of that phone call arguing with me telling me the current time, and why they took lunch that time every day, I explained to her several times that I had called before noon and they still didn't answer the phone. She kept repeating, but it is 12:15, I offered to send her a screen shot of my several calls before the noon lunchtime, but she kept telling me the current time.
I was relieved today to come home from my current visit to find a letter in the mail saying they would be discharging me as a patient, as if I had any intention of ever going back there again.
It was my fault for not checking yelp to begin with when 1/3rd of all reviews make mention of the horrible front desk / staff experience in a health care setting it should tell you there is a problem. Usually that is such a small portion of your overall visit as your focus is on the treatment.
I would suggest avoiding this place entirely, the DMV provides a better customer service experience.
