| - Absolutely unbelievable. My fiancé and I are (were) both patients at this facility with Dr. Colbert. We have spoken several times with Tish, the RN there who has WAY overstepped her boundaries. Even to go as far and make sexual jokes to my fiancé and I whilst in the office. I do have to say she is always nice, but a bit inappropriate. Yesterday, December 2nd my fiancé, Mike, called to speak with them regarding a prescription refill. He had to leave a message at the desk. No problem. Today, he hadn't heard anything back so he decided to call checking on the status. The original person who answered the phone, Camilia (please excuse the spelling errors for names) who was very pleasant and said she would check on it and to please hold. Mike misunderstood that she actually meant she would call him back, so he called right back and spoke to, Jackie W., who was extremely rude. I could hear her through the phone stating things in a condescending tone. Mike got pushy at this point because usually when calling this office there is no return call made. It is entirely up to us to communicate effectively. Jackie stated after placing us on a very brief hold that Dr. Colbert was with patients and someone would call back. Hilariously enough, Tish called back 10 minutes later explaining the prescription would be filled. However, she did make sure to point out that Jackie asked that we please not be rude to the office/receptionist staff. Mike, looking extremely puzzled, asked if Jackie stated he was rude and Tish's response was simply, yeah. Unbelievable. Mike was not at all rude, although I have to say I would have been if that's how she was speaking to me. He was concerned in the first place due to the fact that the medication he is taking causes severe horrible side effects that he's already been through once thanks to the office not responding. I wouldn't recommend becoming a new patient or continue being an existing patient at this location. Extremely rude staff who doesn't understand patient needs. Thank you, Mecklenburg Medical Group for allowing us to be patients at one time and allowing your staff to make us go somewhere else with our business. After all, the medical profession is a business, right?
Sincerely, A very frustrated, yet calm and pleasant, Samantha
