| - They don't update their company website- I travelled to the original 533 Bloor St W location, however I get there only to find out it's not there anymore and has been replaced by another store. I had to go onto Yelp to find out that the branch was closed. I then had to travel a long distance to the (nearest) 379 Queen St W location. Their website says the stores stop buying clothes 1 hour before closing. However, the website says the 379 Queen St W location closes at 8 PM on Mondays to Saturdays (I went there on a Wednesday), and that they stop buying at 7 PM. I arrived at 6:05 PM and asked the cashier if I could sell my 2 bags of clothes, however she said rudely that they stopped buying an hour before closing- treating me like an idiot. I was completely dumbfounded- either no one has bothered to check and update their website, or the staff at the store were lying or too lazy to do their job. I was tired and annoyed by this point, and so I just put the 2 bags in a donation box at H&M down the street, and the cashier there gave me 2 coupons for $5 off a $30 purchase- this is still better than nothing, and certainly better than what Kind Exchange would or could offer. Donate to charities directly (i.e. Salvation Army, Goodwill, food and clothes banks, homeless shelters, etc.) instead or find some other place to sell your old clothes and accessories. Kind Exchange is certainly not kind, and is an utter disappointment and a disgrace.
