  • My friend needed to find a place to live in a pinch. Lantana was in his price range so I called and got some information. The guy who answered the phone was super helpful and friendly. He said there was a unit coming up available soon, and after explaining all the costs to me, said that we could come in early the following day for a showing. When we arrived the next morning, we walked into the leasing office and the two people working did not even look up from what they were doing to acknowledge us. One person was on his personal cell phone BTW. Finally when the girl looked up, we told her we were interested in a one bedroom, and she said they don't have any availability. I told them I just called yesterday and they said "Oh well we rented out some apartments yesterday." Then they just started blankly at us. They didn't even ask what dates we were looking for or if another unit would satisfy our needs so we turned around and walked out. I was so shocked considering the man who I had spoke to the day before was so nice, and these people were so rude. It was like night and day. Their property looked shitty and poorly maintained, and the lack of customer service from the leasing agents makes me glad my friend didn't get a place there.
