  • I've had the pleasure of attending two very different but equally pleasant events at Whitehead Manor. Two years ago, my department had an offsite retreat in Whitehead's conference center. The staff was extremely accommodating and the high ceilings, spacious conference rooms, and natural light made for a great environment for some very intense strategic planning discussions. This past weekend I attended a wedding at Whitehead Manor and was equally pleased with the grounds and the staff. I was honestly a bit nervous that the space might be a bit cramped, especially because it rained all weekend, but the large porches and breezeways helped limit crowding. If you're looking for a conference center or special even venue that's got Southern charm and is conveniently situated between Ballentyne and Uptown, then Whitehead Manor is the place for you!
