I paid the Palms a visit only once a few years back, mainly just to see what all the hubbub was about.
Everything seemed really nice and modern, almost over the top in some areas. Not really my style. I remember hitting a $300 jackpot on one of the Playboy dollar slots, but that was about it. Comps and points in the players club seemed really hard to accumulate, and drink service wasn't very rapid. I can't seem to recall if the casino was only one level or had others, but I remember walking around the perimeter of it took a really long time.
OK to check out if you're a first time visitor to Vegas, or maybe if you're staying at the Gold Coast or Rio, but not so thrilling for a repeat visit.
