  • I walked in after deciding i'd give this place a go and asked the price of acrylic nails. The lady said 25 dollars. I was in the midst of doing some errands so I said i'd be back in an hour. Went back with a friend who decided to get a mani pedi. We were kindly greeted by the ladies that would complete our services. After I sat down with my lady she started to apply the white tips. We were chatting on and off and she seemed nice, but then I realized she started to give me gel nails instead of acrylic (pricier) I said no, I wanted acrylic. She then told me that they didn't even do acrylic nails! So why the lady at the front desk quoted me a price for a service they don't even do, is beyond me. Since I was on a budget (and jipped of the service I initially wanted to have done) I asked if the price was negotiable. They were going to charge me 40 (45 if you give a tip) She said she would ask her boss and see if she could do me a deal. 35 dollars for gel nails is not a deal! i've had them done at 35 before and seem to think this price is standard, also i've had a way better job done than this place gave me. ANYHOW! after that little conversation, the nail lady seemed like she was frustrated by me and decided to take her frustrations out on my hands because she began to get pretty bossy and grabby when putting my hand in position to complete the nail service. She stopped talking to me and instead made (what appeared to be ) agitated gestures when I needed to put my hand in front of the fan to dry, or to put my hand in a certain position, so on and so forth. Anyhow I just wanted this horrible service to be done with. She finished and I still felt obligated to give a tip so I did. The nails looked great when they were done, some spots you could see the bond was applied a bit sloppy and in most spots the bond was overlapping my cuticle. My friends mani/pedi seemed to take forever but at least her lady was nice. As i was getting my hands ripped off by my nail technician, my friend was laughing and smiling with her technician and getting an arm massage!! I waited for my friends service to be done, and she showed me after it looked like a 2 year old had applied her polish, it was applied to thinly and appeared to be streaky. Her technician also took her customer service a little too far and insisted on putting my friends socks, shoes and jacket on for her (Nice? but kind of weird, we're grown women) Anyhow, one week later and the bond on my gel nails is lifting from my natural nail and my nails look like crap. Lifting (so I've read) can be partly the owners fault, for being to rough with your nails, to even taking some medications that affect your nail bed, but ALSO can be the technicians fault for applying the bond over the cuticle or applying it too thickly etc. Also the bond is a yellowing in some areas which indicates that low end product was used. I will not go back here, i'll just pray that their hair service is not anything like their nail service, bad haircuts are a little harder to conceal.
