  • Being on a corner of the square, with great outdoor seating, and a Madison institution, Gennas could slack off and still stay in business. But they don't, making it one of places locals call the favorite hang out spot. It's one step below fancy, and one above a diver bar. Whether it be the bloody mary bar, the juke box upstairs, late night shenanigans, or stiff drinks, they do it up right. The bartenders are friendly, and so are the customers. Your only problem may be getting a seat.
