| - Hop Farm is a great, no-nonsense brewery! Although the seating is somewhat limited, the atmosphere is still fun, friendly, and inviting. I have been here several times, and have thoroughly enjoyed myself each time.
My favorite beer is the Fresh Pot of Porter ($6 for 16oz). It tastes like Guinness with more of a coffee flavor, and it is amazing - full of flavor and very smooth!
I have also had the Cheese Board ($13) and the Gouda Nachos (I can't recall the price, but it was probably close to that of the cheese board). The cheese board came with five cheeses, crackers, olives in a cucumber cup, and a tomato rose; it was tasty, but nothing special. The gouda nachos, however, are pretty dang good! Pro tip: order an extra side of the gouda beer cheese sauce for super cheesy nacho goodness!
The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. Hop Farm is a great addition to the growing craft brewery trend. If you're ever in Pittsburgh, you should definitely check this place out!
