  • Merchant Oyster Company is a nice addition to the Lawrenceville restaurant scene. The New England Clam Chowder bread bowl was very generous and seasoned perfectly. The bread bowl itself was toasted to perfection and delicious, although I could not finish it for lunch and recommend the smaller bowl if you do not have a large appetite. My girlfriend had the lobster roll, and although it is priced at a hefty $23, it was packed with large pieces of lobster, including a very large piece of claw meat on top. The interior has a clean look while retaining traditional New England charm, with small meaningful details like wall chargers at every bar seat. The service was friendly and fast. High Recommendation.
