3/10/2017 I arrived early on Friday for Crab legs and seafood, (opens at 4pm and arrived at 3:30) and people were already getting in line. The price was $23.00 with players card. The crab legs are handed out in little plastic baskets like your french fries would come in. There was never fewer than 12 to 14 people in line waiting to get the heated crab legs. There were also crab legs on ice that were portions of crab legs that I tried and they were extremely hard to crack open and no flavor. The legs were medium to small and I was disappointed in the lack of flavor. The prime rib served was average. The Chowder was mostly potatoes with very little clams or flavor. There was no fried shrimp but they did serve shrimp tempura which was soft and mushy with little flavor. There was some ceviche that was tasty served in little martini glasses. The dessert was pretty much what you'd find at most common buffets and little that I'd brag about. Overall, I was disappointed with the Aliante Buffet and I would not recommend the Friday Seafood Buffet. As far as the casino itself, I am a non-smoker and the first thing I noticed as soon as I entered was the stale smell of cigarette smoke. The casino is spacious with fewer machines than I would have expected and I tried my luck with several machines but I'm not lucky at gambling and have never been. I just wish I could play a longer time for the money I spend but that's why I seldom gamble, I lose it so fast. I read other reviews that were negative but I dismissed them because, I think, sometimes people expect to much, but I went with an open mind and left disappointed in the quality of the Friday Buffet at Aliante Casino.
