So far, I've seen two Cirque du Soleil shows: Ka and Zarkana. After seeing this, I still prefer Ka. The one element that this lacked the most was a story to tell the audience. That was something Ka had, which I appreciated since I was able to follow the performance. Zarkana is opposite of that and is more of a circus show. It was your typical run of the mill Ringling Bros show where they display various acts of agility and death defying acrobatics. I like that, but to a certain extent. Since Cirque du Soleil always markets themselves as the cream of the crop entertainment show, I expected so much more. Luckily, the two tickets I had were comped so I didn't have to pay face value, which is around $80 each. I do have to say their set display was very detailed and fantastic to look at throughout the show. If you're going to Vegas to see a Cirque du Soleil show which you're paying full price for, I would skip this one.
