| - Even though the lines are usually very long here, it moves quickly. They keep the place well staffed, particularly in the morning.
One of the interesting things about this Starbucks location is the relatively low staff turnover rates.
The head office of Starbucks Canada is in the office tower above this, and there is a Starbucks training centre on site. I imagine that has a lot to do with the relative quality of the staff here.
Many of the staff remember my drink and greet me by name.
One downside that other reviewers have mentioned is the high-schoolers who hang out all day and take up all the seating. It's basically their study spot.
On that note, if they're doing one of their promotions where they do 2 for 1 frappucinos or something from 2:00-5:00, I steer clear. Everybody swarms it, particularly the previously mentioned high schoolers, resulting in a line up that stretches out the door. Those frappucinos take a long time to make, too, so you won't served quickly in those situations. I don't think the staff like those promotions, either.
Do not park in the no parking zones out front. The parking police move like lightning here. I see people getting towed before they can get in, get a coffee, and get out.
