  • Took advantage of Charlotte restaurant week and had dinner here tonight. What a great meal! I had the cauliflower soup to start, and it was great. Wish I had a huge bowl of it. Then I had the grilled hangar steak, which was an amazing piece of meat. The taste was absolutely fantastic in my opinion. Dessert was a butter cake which was ok, but I'm not a sweets guy, so it was sort of a throw in for me. My wife had the roasted beet and fennel salad, which she thought was great. I had a few bites and the greens were great! Made me miss summer. Her entrĂ©e was the seared scallops which she enjoyed very much. We would love to eat here a few night a week, but it is expensive. And for someone who cooks and know how much food is, I just can't justify spending that much on food. 5church is a very good restaurant. We also promised our waitress we would mention her. Thank you AMBER for the great service.
