  • I had a "tune up" done Saturday May 13th. This company purchased my information from a previous AC company I used to use. I was advised by the rep they offered a special for 39.95 for a tune up on my system and it would be the exact services that my previous company used to perform. I agreed to this since I annually get my ac tune up which included, check Freon, wash coils, and check my system for any problems. After rep Ryan showed up to my house, he cranked my AC down to 50 degrees did some paperwork. As He was doing some paperwork at my dining room table I apologized for the mess and explained since starting to work 5 days a week things get behind for me. As I was washing my protein shakers, he made a few comments about how clean he is and how his shakers never get dirty. As I started loading my dishwasher, he made a couple more comments about how he never uses his dishwasher because it only takes a minute to do the dishes and he thinks its gross to have dishes in the sink (total Condescending). I was about to tell him he could keep his comments to himself, instead he got up and headed out to get his "equipment". After about 10 minutes I went to the A.C. units to check on him, all he did was have his computer hooked up to my A.C. unit and explained how my systems were about to go out and how crappy one of them was running. I asked if he was going to clean the coils, he said no.... I explained that was my expectations since the previous company had done it in their tune up deal, Ryan offered to do that service $160... This is not what I agreed on. He spent more time trying to sell me a ac unit then he did servicing my system, he was pushing to get me to agree to buy 13k worth of ac units right then and there without talking to my wife. At this point i was pretty annoyed and for another 10 minutes as he was walking out he kept talking about how he could get me financed, and how he made a customer wait till 9pm to go back over the night before because he was being "douchy" to him...I don't know why he thought telling me all this was appropriate. He further explained how he records customers on his tablet if they are rude to him and he will just leave a job site if he needs to. He also kept telling me how recorders have put the POWER back into the techs hands, he said since the customer isn't "always" right... blah, blah, blah.... So at the end of the day I had to pay 39.95 for him to come hook up his tablet to my ac unit and tell me I needed a new one, and hear him ramble. The guy seemed knowledgeable but completely unprofessional and pompous. I wasn't looking to make a bestie, I was looking to get my unit services and have him leave. So the "tune up" was done on Saturday. I called Monday Morning and spoke to a rep. I told her what had happened and it was not what a tune up was and I didn't want to pay for this. I was told a manager would contact me within 24 hrs. Than never happened. I called back Tuesday afternoon, the rep I spoke to on heard the situation and asked if I had gotten the washable filter... I said "no, what is that"... she said that was suppose to be given to you for the 39.95 special. So clearly there is something wrong here. She offered to send someone else out. At this point I do not want to do business and told her I don't want anyone else out, I want to speak with the manager. She said she would email the manager and transferred me to her VM. I left her a VM and have yet to get a call back. BE careful doing Business with this company. If you do use them, do what I do and make sure you record every call... May come in useful to dispute the charges with the bank. Personally I would advise to stay away....
