We have used Family Vet Care's Ahwatukee office for vet care and boarding since moving to the area years ago, taking 2 dogs from young to geriatric. We have always found the vets , techs, boarding and office staff to be consistently caring and competent. Like any "medical" care these days (and I work related to the people side) diagnostics and treatment it can be expensive but they are VERY transparent ( too bad people care isn't) and have always worked with me regarding cost v benefit v budget and never made me feel guilty for not doing something, unlike some places. We are currently using Dr. Mott as the "primary", who I know has stayed there a long time. If there is one slight down side IMO it's that the place is in fact family owned (father and son vets), and it seems like a proportion of the younger vets tend to move on after 5 or 6 years to set up their own businesses, so you are "bonded" to a particular vet, like I tend to be, you may have to switch at some point in your pet's life.
