| - Good food in a very hip atmosphere in Old Town Scottsdale area. Service was friendly and directed more towards the "dining" experience rather than quick service. In other words, we never felt rushed. The waitress as well as the several waiters whom helped us were all great. I had a "Julep" drink to start which was very strong, flavorful. We started with Burrata, which was quite tasty, just the right size for two to share, and the bread was excellent. My wife had the Pan Seared Scallops, which she enjoyed but could've used 1 or 2 more scallops (there were 3 total). I had the Gypsy Pork Shank. It was tasty, smoky, but probably a little heavy and fatty for my taste. The desserts were excellent--wife had the Black & Tan and I had French Toast Bread Pudding, which to me was absolutely excellent. I docked one star just for the entrees--for the price paid, I felt there could've been a little better balance on food quantity, and I just wasn't 100% pleased with the shank. The environment was quite noisy--not really an intimate atmosphere, but I don't think that was the goal.
