| - After eating at Wicked Spoon five times in the last few months, I have concluded that this is the best buffet on the strip. Bellagio and Wynn are the runners up, respectively. In fact, Wynn is a distant runner-up.
At Wicked Spoon, the expansive layout of both the seating area and the buffet itself allows for so much more breathing room than any other buffet I have been to in Las Vegas or otherwise. Really, one of the worst things about a bad buffet is finding yourself elbow to elbow among a crowd of losers who are swarming around the food stations. That's not the case here. Again, the layout is awesome and basically all of the side dishes are portioned into small containers for easy pick-up.
At brunch, I start by ordering both fresh orange juice and Coke which feels wildly decadent for some reason. The omeletes are the highlight, and no one but me ever seems to notice or care that guacamole is available as a topping. My favorite side at this time of day is the smoked salmon. In my experience, the only buffet-style brunch anywhere on the planet that rivals Wicked Spoon's is the JW Marriott's. The pastries and juices are better at the latter, but the overall spread at Wicked Spoon is definitely the best.
While brunch is excellent, dinner has been less appealing to me. Highlights of dinner include the crab legs and gelato. Aside from these two items, it seems more about the novelty of eating at a high-end buffet than about eating anything specific.
