Okay, this hotel is in the center of downtown Cleveland right by public square and not far from the stadiums, so the location is ideal but many hotels are close by. There's a train station in the adjacent building which can take you directly to the airport. The staff is kind, and the hotel is clean.
There's a casino next door and with he train station there are some questionable folks and some vagrants hangings out nearby. The hotel keeps questionable people out. Now to the negative. Much of the hotel is dated. The rooms don't have central air. They still have those ancient units, which never really do a good job in keeping the room warm or cool enough located under the window. The bathroom -specifically tub- is old. The tub in my room never drained properly. By the end of a shower the tub was almost full. The club lounge in this Marriott branded hotel is average at best. The fitness center is significantly below average, probably one of the worst I've seen. Lastly, the hallway walls are painted grey, which makes it really gloomy feeling.
The rooms are comfortable otherwise and the bed is very comfortable. nonetheless, the hotel is need of a renovation.
