Gelato and cake place that replaced the dep at Bernard & Clark after a gut reno. Sparkly, cream-coloured interior with a gelato counter and elaborate displays of cupcakes and other baked goods. Kitchen on view behind floor-to-ceiling glass panes. Very good, if generic Italian-style gelato - not artisan stuff like at Kem Coba or Havre aux Glaces. Flavours like panna cotta, fior di latte, etc.
Posh. General feel of the place is a bit rich for the blood on Bernard East: the immediate neighbours are a clothing exchange and a very cool tattoo parlour. Only a few customers on a weeknight in early June. For those nights when rain beckons and Kem Coba unpredictably closes, but you still want ice cream, this is a good alternative.
