| - SHOP IN THE STORE.... DO NOT EAT IN THE BISTRO! We have been AG fans for 8 years and have supported this brand soooo much. Honestly it's embarrassing how many dolls my girls have collected thru allowance and Christamas over the years, but it keeps them young and is sweet. SO WE WERE THRILLED WHEN THE STORE OPENED IN SCOTTSDALE. So very disappointing.
We have eaten dinner in The Chicago store and New York twice, San Jose, and have shopped Denver quite a few times. ALL OUTSTANDING!! I was super excited when we made reservations for Tuesday after this store opened. The food was AWFUL. The water was warm Arizona tap (iick) and the food tasted like it was microwaved. SLOW AND DIRTY.... Thinking it was just new, we came back in October for my daughter and her friends birthday. We were shoved in the corner, the food came out separately and slow. We were done when my daughter got her teeny pizza. They dropped a cake off at our table then went in the birthday room to another party and ignored us. After 5 min of us staring at the cake, a server walked by and I said, " can we light the candles please?" She handed me a lighter and left. Our girls had to listen to the two servers sing happy birthday in the party room while we lit our own candles and had to wait again for a knife. I felt so bad for our girls- there was NOTHING special at all. When we waited forever again for the bill (not cheap by the way) we got up to leave and my friend said, " don't the get goody bags with the birthday package? We waited again in the bistro doorway where we finally flagged the server down for the goody bags.
We called corporate the next day- NOTHING, they just had the store manger call and give us 2 free desserts- no real apology nothing.....Whatever.... Keep your desserts, I will never eat there again. Take comments seriously, train your staff- We pay for the magic of this for our kids, I can't get that birthday back... You Scottsdale AG Bistro- suck.
