  • Holder was recommended to me by my hotel as a great French restaurant. The restaurant has the perfect lighting and vibe for a first or second date. Unfortunately, I was traveling on business, but enjoyed myself over by the bar area. I gnashed on the lovely selection of toasted breads and salted butter they brought out while I drank a local red ale. I asked the server for his recommendations and decided upon the braised beef cheek à la bourguignonne, which is braised for six hours. The meat literally just fell apart in my mouth it was so tender. The dish was also perfectly sized so that I was full but not overly so. Thanks for a lovely evening!
