  • This theater has changed owner a couple of times. It used to be famous players and it then became empire theaters and now it is cineplex. At least this last change was an improvement over the previous change. This theater has a long escalator going directly two floors up to the theater floor. It kind of floats in mid air while you can look down on the loblaws which is in the basement. This theater is very convenient since you have direct access from the subway. Especially if you are on or near the Yonge subway line, this is one of the easiest theaters to get to that plays mainstream movies and has a fair number of screens. If you are in for a night at the movies this is one of the places to visit.
