This was my first time staying at the Rio since our "host" who booked and planned our stay has been here so many times. Not only was I disappointed for a first timer, he said this place has fallen off the map, big time.
We were told there would be a pull-out bed from the couch and asked for a roll-away bed . . . the couch did not pull-out into a bed and they never brought the roll away.
The shower head is terrible - all lime scaled and the weirdest setting, you can barely shower, it's like mist.
They apparently close the pool at 6pm even on weekends . . really? How lame.
The hotel is full of mostly 50 year olds and just seems tacky.
The shops are insanely expensive, even for Vegas.
The casino was decent, except for the stupid three-card poker table that took my money . . . stupid game.
