Okay, I can't give it five stars, because it's definitely not perfect, but this is a solid restaurant that I eat at all the time.
Went in on "black Friday" and it was a nice respite from the shopping. We found a place to sit down, and even though my wife picked a table far away from the service station, Alyssa (sorry if the spelling is wrong) greeted us quickly and was super-sweet.
The steamed clams took longer than expected- we probably waited 30 minutes for something that cooks in 3 minutes- but still, they were tender and tasty. Garlic bread is fantastic in this place.
Also had the "shrimp boat" with spicy cajun sauce. Honestly, it was killer. I will definitely order that again. Just the right amount of "hot."
This place really focuses on beer. If I were twenty years younger and could still drink beer, I would be at this place all the time- five stars. If they put as much focus on the kitchen as they did the beer selection, the restaurant would be better.
Service and beer are their best qualities though. Stay for the food, while you are sitting there.
