| - Let me start by saying the listed address here on Yelp is incorrect. It is actually 350 Racetrack Road (not 300 Racetrack Rd). Found this out the hard way. I'll see if I can get this corrected.
I wasn't impressed with this park. However, I did go earlier than normal (6pm) on a 110 degree day in late July. So that might have played a big part.
The dog park was dead empty.. just us. There are three different parks to choose from, which was pretty cool. A large dog park (over 25lbs) a small dog park (under 25lbs) and a separate park for anyone and everyone. The rules are clearly listed, so you can only hope that people will take a gander and, at the very least, consider them. The grass was in great condition, my Border Collie loved it. Plenty of room to run around and the separates areas.
Four stars due to the lack of water areas. I went here for the water part. Yet the water area, to be frank, umm, sucked. I'd recommend not getting too excited to see it. I can see how it would be a little fun if you lived up the road, but I made the mistake of traveling from the SW side of town. I also wasn't very impressed with the water fountain area in the separate dog parks. If there were several dogs running around, I don't see how this little water fountain could handle the needs of the pups.
Nice park, lots of room, but I wouldn't travel across town to visit again.
