  • I'm not one to go out of my way to leave a negative review, but I had such a bad experience with my doctor that I feel I should post here. It's important to choose a medical professional who is both attentive to your needs and, well, professional, and my experience lacked both of these aspects. This review NOT meant to be negative towards All Care as a whole, as I can't speak for the entire establishment. There are other doctors available at this location, and I just happened to have had an experience with someone who wasn't helpful. The rest of the staff was genuinely sweet towards me and were just all-around great people. I waited approximately a month before writing this up so it wouldn't be in the heat of the moment and the experience still upsets me, so here we go. I had D. Bredeson see me. I went for an annual checkup as well as to specifically seek guidance on dealing with my anxiety and chronic back pain (attributed to my large chest area). When discussing my anxiety, I mentioned how my mother also had GAD and that I was experiencing all of the symptoms. I told her that the symptoms began three years ago, and that it was severely impacting my relationships, causing me to feel overwhelmed, and that it was hard to get through it all. Seeing as the disorder is genetic and most prevalent in women, it's not farfetched for me to think I inherited/developed it. Did she recommended I see psychologist/psychiatrist? No. Did she discuss it further? Nope. instead, she took the opportunity to lecture me, saying, "You don't know what living a hard life is like, honey. You're only 20, you don't know." Regardless of whether or not I have it as hard as others, the fact remains that she chose to (wrongly) invalidate my experiences based on my age, rather than helping me in any way. I also mentioned my back pain, wanting to know what I should do to resolve it, and she didn't even acknowledge the issue. It's not in the records, either. Again, the rest of the professionals here are great. This is simply my own personal experience with my doctor and you should take this review with a grain of salt. Thank you! **Update: I was contacted promptly after this review and was told that this situation would be further looked into as they were not aware of the situation beforehand. The person I spoke with was also very sweet and understanding. :)
