  • Invited to an owners update dinner to hear about the "new benefits" for Diamond Owners. Got there, only 8 couples set up like a sales meeting...3 seats at a table. Has to post a $50.00 deposit for the meal! Total bait and switch situation. The salesman had paperwork showing what we owned and where. We mentioned to him that we owned at ILX Premier Properties early on. After going through a rather long presentation of all of the "new" benefits available to Diamond owners, we were told that we were ineligible as we had not "converted" when Diamond took over Premier. Then the salesman went to check and miraculously, they would be able to "roll back" the pricing to convert to Diamond Resorts for only another $22K...This was after trying to get us to purchase a package of over $124,000! Totally unethical. Going to report to the Nevada Real Estate Division as salesman said he was not there as salesman, but only to help us. Tried to scare use about what our current maintenance fees would go to if we did not convert, also tried to sell us a Diamond Credit card to purchase another offer for $2995.00! If you think you have been taken advantage of, please file a report with the State of Nevada, Department of Business and Commerce as we have.
