I have to agree with Amber and Bobby, if you compare this hospital to any other in Montreal I suspect you will come running back to Lasalle. Some hospitals in Montreal are crumbling old castles with bed in the hallways and smells which are a mix of ghosts and mold. Some are new super hospitals which are massive behemoths with overworked nurses on the edge of a breakdown.
And then there's Lasalle. It's fairly small, and just outside the downtown core and the population crunch therein. It's a new build with great big windows, bright colours, and reasonable hospital smells. All the staff I've encountered have been incredibly friendly, patient and happily bilingual.
If you need to go for a blood test it is sans rendezvous, and if you make the mistake of going after a holiday you will wait hours. But this seems to be the case everywhere, so I can't really blame them. At least my results were delivered quickly to my doctor!
Parking here is also way more reasonable and easier than other hospitals. In general, so far, I am a fan!
