  • Finally, I don't have to give ANY of my money to Gander Mountain. Previously they had the best indoor range in the area, but MaxCreek has the EXACT same range (same company installed it, etc) except that it has 30% more lanes and 50% more range!!!!! What's more, the place is family owned and operated by a great bunch of folks. Johnny, with whom I've had the most contact, is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They have a wide selection of weapons and accessories, and very reasonable pricing. They also have a competent gunsmith with whom they work (shout out Black Thistle Gunsmithing in Evansville) which is a great. I could list a bunch of bullet points (for the sake of the pun, more than anything), but instead I'll just put it plainly: If you've been spending your money at a different range or retailer, you need to seriously rethink what's available!
