  • When I found out this place was in one my favorite areas of town I was very excited to check it out. There are several restaurants and even the snow shavery in this parking lot so sometimes parking can be a little difficult, but it's worth it. Monta was smaller than expected inside...large parties may have a hard time here. There is bar seating much like a sushi bar and 4-5 tables. That's it! We came on a Friday evening at 6pm and were in and out by 7! Service was fast and easy. The menu is simple, basically it's a choice of a Ramen noodle bowl or rice to include a pork belly bowl which is soooo fantastically good! You can get a side of kimchi, flavored boiled egg, shredded green onion, butter, etc. they have plenty of table top items to add extra flavors to your meal which I loved...chili oil, soy sauce, garlic butter, vinegar and a blend of awesome seasonings. Drinks come in a can (except water) and I think there was a choice of one beer (Asahi). We had a great experience and will likely return for another round.
