  • Dr. Arteaga "Dr. A" at Sahara Animal Hospital is absolutely the best!!! I cannot praise him enough. Everything he does is what he believes is best for the animal. My cat JiJi was throwing up Dr. A explain to me she was trying to dislodge a hair ball recommend I give her Vaseline so I did and she stop throwing up. What impressed me the most is when I was leaving I asked how much and they told me no charge we didn't do anything. That when I knew I finally found someone who didn't see me as a walking dollar sign but, as a family member! Now only if I can find a family doctor like him. I also take my 2 dogs to him and he is great always explains everything and never rushes you regardless of how busy he is. Lastly by no means is this an over-price practice yet this man still found it in his heart to donate to our fire departments air mask for dogs. Which were used this September 2014 to save lives!!! Dr.A received the kindness act award and donated the money to the rescue. I mean how more compassionate can a man be.
