  • I got invited out to a networking event for a "Night at the Races" at Woodbine. The event took place on the trackside tents just next to the main building. We will right there about 100 ft away from the horses. I was impressed. The food was great, buffet style with loads of variety. Salads, grilled and roasted veggies, roast chicken and wonderful prime rib! I had to limit myself to one plate to save room for dessert. The highlight of the night was getting a mini crash course with one of the Woodbine horse betting experts. He was super helpful and overlooked our picks. Sadly, I did not win any of my bets. Lesson learned - do not gamble unless you are willing to lose it. Overall, it is a fun night out if you are looking to do something different.
